As part of our fair & strategic business model, we promote & encourage free standard shipping within mainland United Kingdom & Ireland on 90% of the products items. Due to limitations by some of our courier partners, a very small number of postcodes may be exempted from free shipping or cannot be delivered to.
Some vendors may add shipping to some products at their discretion, and next day delivery /express post is offered as an add-on option.
How Do We Pay for Free Shipping?
FairfurtUK custumers don’t just want fast, free shipping. They expect it. This simplified business model provides potentially lower costs for our customers but the ultimate challenge for any online businesses is how to affordably offer free shipping and balance the expense as someone has to pay for the cost of delivering goods to the end consumers. To solve this, we encourage our vendors to factor shipping cost into their operation and pricing by understand applicable shipping costs from inventory and include it in the product pricing. As the majority of our vendors also choose to have free shipping on their stores, it has been easy.
Why do we offer Free Shipping?
If a customer purchases from more than one store it is important that the cost of shipping does not add up to be very expensive in the cart. This may cause the customer to abandon their shopping cart.
